For brown hair and eyes use natural colors browns, tans, earth tones. Use the darkest on the lid and ligten as you go out toward your brow, use a small brush to blend so they don't show lines where one stops and another begins. Apply liner on the lid above you top lash darker toward the outside. Also use both above and below the bottom lash and underneath the top lash. This is great for night time. do the same for day time but not as heavy and use brown color.
For night time use black liner.

Try the beauty consultants and other tools at www.covergirl.com . They can help you pick the right shades, and there are video tutorials. Also, try www.maybelline.com . And a brief word about eye makeup safety: clean your brushes and change them regularly, and never line the inside of your eyelids.

do your eyeshadow first. use the same color eyeshadow with different shades to layer-darker towards the bottom, lighter shades towards the top by you eyebrow. next, mascara. mascara only on the top looks more natural. last, eyeliner. I use eyeliner on the botton only, and i use a Q-tip to get off the excess so its not super thick. i start from the outside in with eyeliner. i use black eyeliner and mascara.

How about applying eye makeup around the eyes, that would be a good start.

Try Almay Intense i-colors.They come in shades to enhance brown, blue & green eyes. They come in trios.I use the trio for browns. They are really great.(In my opinion) You can purchase them @ your local Walmart. They cost about $7.00.
