im 13 and my mom wont let me wear makeup. how do i convince her to let me wear makeup?

and i do know how to put it on correctly and i wont go full blast with it and make myself look like a barbie doll likes some girls at my school do :)

as a thirteen year old, we should put our skin in utmost importance. u should be using a cleanser, miturizer, and even treatment if u have acne. however, my skin is very bad so i have a dermatolgist and follow a strict regimin that does not right now require moisturizer. As a thirteen year old also, u dont wanna use anything like foundation or base or conceler. Our skin is much to sensitive right now. You could use a tinted moisurizer tho, there is always a loophole ;)



Next, u definiately dont want to use a lot of makeup. Instead, using liquid eyeliner, make a thin line from ur tear duct to ur outer eye edge, and wing out a little. Do not make it thick. Then use a nice mascara. That should complete ur eyes.



Next, just use some lip balm and maybe gloss. Thats all the makeup we need right now :) less is more. :D

Hey I thought the same thing that she was too young at first but when most of the other girls do it and put the ones that cannot at a disavdavantage socially it just isn't fair. So perhaps schools should make it a rule that no one can wear makeup until the 10th grade or at all.

Tinted moisturiser is a good idea. It doesn't damage your skin or clog it up like foundation. Say to her that you just want to wear the moisturiser instead of a clear one because your skin is dry and you want to cover up a few spots. Also use a light brown mascara if your hair isn't dark (light brown is almost invisible to people who don't know your wearing it but it makes lashes look nicer none the less). Also wear a nude lipstick as this is barely there. And don't forget - natural looking make-up is all the rage!

My mom let me wear cover up when I was 10. Um, if you want your mom to let you wear make up- maybe play victim a little bit. Tell her something like - people make fun of you for your acne and you can't concentrate in school because of it. Maybe if she thinks you want to wear makeup because you feel bad or something then maybe she will let you. Ask for tinted moisturizer first or concealer first. It's the least likely thing for your mom to say no to. after that maybe lip gloss. Bronzer, eyeliner, and mascara are going to be the three things you'll have a hard time getting your mom to agree too.

I was always able to wear makeup but i had friends with this problem. Ask your mom if you can start with cover up and lightly colored eyeliner. Light cloudy blue, or light coffee browns are good. One of my friends actually started with WHITE ad each month got darker so she could find the color that doesn't make her look trampy.

Just do what most girls do your age. Buy it in secret and apply it when your out. Then before you go home wipe it off with make-up remover wipes? Your a 13 so that makes you a teenager. So its ok to rebel haha

Just ask to wear a bit of mascara, and a bit of white eyeshadow in the corners of your eyes.

i use dinair airbrush makeup and its super natural looking and its also all water based so it is not bad for my skin because it doesnt clog my pores...maybe if your mom knew all that she would let you use dinair...my younger sister uses kine all the time and she loves it as muchh as i do...i hope i helepd in some way =)
