I am 21 years old and i have very oily skin. I wear makeup because of acne scars i have. So at first i thought it was the makeup that was causing my oily skin but I'll just go four hours without makeup when i'm at home and my skin still gets really oily! Every four hours i look so shiny it looks like i'm sweating. people honestly think i'm sweating. Is there a long lasting makeup foundation anyone can recommend? I've used liquid and powder foundation estee lauder , bare minerals and loose powder. What do u recommend i do? or even just to control my oily skin.yes i still get acne too.

Try the Bare Minerals Matte. When I originally used the regular Bare Minerals formula it was not good enough for me in the summer and I had to switch. Also, make sure you apply a mattifying gel or primer before you put on your makeup. I use Murad Oil Control Mattifier (available at Sephora for $39). Also carry a translucent blotting powder since you will always have touch up any shine since there is no way to stop your body from producing the oil on your face.

I know exactly how you feel, my skin is the same way. Here's what I do:

For a facial cleanser, I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil Eliminating Foaming Cleanser. It works wonders for oily acne prone skin. It has a pretty smell, easily removes makeup and keep the shine down for hours, (literally hours).

For moisturizer I use Cera-ve Moisturizing Lotion. It's a tad expensive($13.99 at Walgreens) but it's the only thing that moisturizes my oily skin without making it greasy.

For makeup, I use Revlon Photo Ready liquid foundation. After wards, I apply my liquid foundation, I set it with a light, matte pressed powder.

If mid day I notice that my skin is oily, I use an oil blotting sheet and then re-apply my pressed powder.

I've found that this routine works really well for my skin, so I suggest following it for about a week to see if it works for you too, but feel free to adjust it to your needs haha

Hope this helps:)

BareMinerals, the best thing to happen to women since... well.. since it existed! My skin varies based on the weather and season, but no matter what, my foundation never fails me. It lasts for pretty much all day, and touching up with it is not a problem. It blends BEAUTIFULLY and is just an all around great product that I always recommend. It's high-end make up and seems pricey until you realize how great it is and how long it lasts (a little bit goes a long way!)

First make sure you put on a primer on your face so that everything stays on. I use prime time by bare escentuals (its okay kind of greasy, you might want to research whats a good one). Revlon colorstay foundation. Then finish with mac mineralize skin finish. I think you'll be satisfied
