I'm asian, with single eyelinds too, and what I do is that I create the effect of like double eyelids by using 3 different shade of colors from the same family, the medium color goes all over the eyelid, the darkest shade in the middle creating a crease (so it gives the effect like you have a double eyelid), and highlight your browbone with the lightest shade. Blend gently, not too much so the colors are still seenable.

Do you mean that you don't have a crease on your eyelid? Because thats common with Asians. My friends who are Chinese and have similar eyes (at least I think so) use white eye liner in the inner corners of their eyes to make their eyes look bigger. Light eyeshadow works well and its better to just use one layer (one color) since it would just look like lines if you used more than one color. But if the colors are similar such as a light blue and a medium blue, then layers are ok as long as they're blended well. Hope that helped.

For that I'd use a liquid liner on the top but fan it out a little to the side for a wide open eye look [or go on the bottom and attach it, for a wider look] and depending on your eye color:

Brown: orange, green, mauve, slate

Green: pink or blues

Blue: grey, sliver, purples, camel, taupe or brown

apply that to the whole lid {not under the brow} dark-to-light Pif your using more thatn one color} \

i'm not quite sure what you mean by 'double eyelids' but i've found that a light lavender eyeshadow brushed across the lids looks really nice on my friend who is Vietnamese.

Put tape on your eyelid for the crease.

i think you should use a dark smokey grey color on the lid.
