Do you ever add a little fake tan to your daily moisturiser?

I was wondering if this would be ok? Just a tiny bit to give you a little coverage and build it up.. this would be the same as any daily build up moisturiser..?

Hi, yes this is highly recommended as you can achieve the colour you want. But if i put fake tan on my face i come out in a rash so i dont use it. I suppose it will work better that a daily build up moisturiser as you can apply as much fake tan as you want so you can get the right amount of tan you want rather than wait for the tan to develope over time.
All i say is try it and see how you get on.

I have done it before without problems.
Make sure you mix the fake tan into the moisturiser verty well before applying, you may not see a difference but it can just give you a little bit of colour without being noticable that you have applied fake tan, all the moisturiser does is water the fake tan down.

No I use Dove Summer Glow Body lotion which is a moisturiser with a hint of fake tan. It works alright except It is a tiny bit streaky and Makes you knees slightly darker than the rest of your legs. It also comes out if you shave.
but yes if you try that it might work. don't put to much in though, and don't smuther yourself until you know it works.
Thanks, and good luck with it!

Why don't you just buy Johnson's moisturiser with a hint of fake tan, if you use it daily it will gradually build up a nice colour and it doesn't smell horrible.

Yeah its ok to do that.. but some fake tans like No7 for example doesnt work as good with moisturisers as it already has built in moisturiser... better to use a fake tan that has no moisturisers in it.

yeah that would be fine 4 your body but i would use make-up 4 your face as fake tan can dry your facial skin and give yt blackhead so 4 your face use a tinted moisturiser with a little bronzer

Yep - works just the same as buying the ones with the added tan. I've been doing it for years as I have pale skin. Wish I'd thought of selling that idea years ago.......

depending on how much fake tan you add every day you might end up going orange and fake tan always gos pachy after a few days. why dont you just use bronzing powder?

As long as it's not too dark, there's no problem! Make sure NOT to go with the contrabrand, because that's guarenteed to look gross. And also wash your hands after, or else you'll end up with orange hands! (Been there done that. Yuck.)

Yes, no problem and for even better results you can add Indian Earth. It'll give you a better tanning.

no, and fake tans can burn and damage your skin, depending on how sensitive your skin is and what kind of fake tanning lotion or whatever you are applying to your skin.
2006-12-19 07:45:09 UTC
Nothing wrong with that, just make sure that you distribute it evenly to prevent streaking.

Yeah but not daily or but day five you'd look like you got too close to the log fire.
