Help on choosing contact lenses colour ?

Question

I'm keen on using coloured contacts .
(I have perfect eyesight so I don't need degrees, but i have plain black eyes and I think that's boring.)
I have dark since since I'm indian so im not sure what colour contact will suit me ? Any tips and advice ?

If you're already wearing plaino contacts I'll assume/hope you've already been to your optometrist about this and know that you are able to wear the standard base curve. In that case I would recommend circle lenses! You can find them at websites like these -> http://mycandyeyes.com/en/ Most contact lenses are designed for lighter coloured eyes in North America, which can leave darker coloured eyed people with limited selections, however, circle lenses are from Korea, and Japan so they are designed for ppl with dark eyes. You can get any colour from blue to even pink! I think that since you're Indian you would look beautiful with green contacts with lots of hazel in them! Yellow greens almost always look amazing on people with a darker completion. I'm jealous, I'm very limited in what kind of circle lenses I can use because I have very pale grey eyes, and there is a key hole in the middle of them that is made bigger so that the dark brown fills it making the eye look more doll like, so if I stray from light colours you can see the light grey through the centre where brown would blend into the pupil. I think that you should go see your optometrist and ask them what brand and colors will suit your eyes the best.

BEcause of your indianness, I think that you would probably look beautiful with honey-colored accent contacts. They will bring some warmth into your black eyes wihtout being too obviously fake.

I used colored contacts b/c I had brown eyes & wanted a change... but I realized after sometime that It became expensive to keep up with them...especially since I had to buy the ones that are suitable for wear...some places will sell bad color contacts which eventually harm your eye sight...



Have you ever thought about just playing up your eyes with cool colors of eye shadow? I'm in in India right now... and I've seen a few girls w/colored contacts...some could pull it off...but the ones w/blue eyes....sorry..but they didn't seem to really work on them... maybe you can go w/green colors if you want...or see if you can sample any at the eye dr. 1st...

How bout a lighter shade of brown? Or a little green? Like aishwarya rai :D Her eye color is beautiful! I think a bit of grey is pretty too. Make sure it matches or goes well with you skin tone. That's very important. Don't go for the extreme like purple or blue. You want your eyes to stand out, but not screaming for unwanted attention.

lol im indian too

and i even have perfect vision AND black eyes but have a small tint of brown in them...my skin was fair when i was born but of course cuz of sun it got way tanned but im not dark either.im mediumish.it looks like ive been tanned

its better to choose a dark green colour as it suits the asian skin color more all the best
