I am half asian so my lashes are short, stubby, and point down. I use an NYC curler and apply Maybelline Eyelash primer, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara, and then Benefit Bad Gal Lash on top. It looks good at 6 am but when I get home at 3 they point down again. I have these mascaras:

-Tarte Lights Camera Lashes
-Benefit Bad Gal
-Maybelline XXL Pro Extensions WP(with Primer)
-Great Lash Lots of Lashes
-Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion
-Hard Candy 1,000 lashes
-Great Lash clear
-Maybelline Falsies
-Loreal Bare Naturale

Just so if you suggest one of those, I already have it and I don't like it!

Thanks so much~~:)

To keep them curled all day, first warm up you eyelash curler (carefully!) with the hair dryer set on "low". Be careful not to burn yourself or your lashes!

Then, hold the curler on your lashes for about 30 seconds straight. Curl the other eye, then go back to the first eye and curl again, go back to the second eye and curl again.

Curl them before and after applying mascara.

This should help keep them curled longer!

Or, just bring your curler and mascara re-curl and re-apply throughout the day!

BTW - make sure to apply the mascara in the best way. I use Maybelline The Falsies, and at first i thought it SUCKED until i started applying it like this!

What you want to do is hold the wand at the very base of your lashes. Wiggle it at the base, to adjust each lash in between a bristle so it coats each lash individually, and then pull up the wand as you blink into the wand. Repeat until you get the desired drama.

I swear, this technique works like a dream :)

Shiseido lasting lift mascra is like a primer and mascara in one. I've also tried the Shiseido mascara base which holds the curl and you can use any mascara over it.

I have Asian blood and my lashes tend to become non-curly at the end of the day. My sister's eye lashes are also short, stubby and point down. But we try the SUPER EXTEND EXTREME Waterproof Mascara (Link below) since it uses magnetic fiber formula to increase the look of the lashes up to 87% longer.

Try this along with curling before AND after you apply the mascara.

Also, have you tried a curler with a warmer? That kind of works like a hair curler, but a mini version for the lashes.

K, so I have my friend she also has short hard to curl eye lashes, and she doesn't use the curler at all. What she uses curls them for her and it lasts all day. The products are:

Wet n' Wild Mega Volume Mascara

Maybelline New York The Falsies Volume Express.

get the illegal length. it's gray with pink letters. it's not like one of those dumb ones that lies and says it makes them grow it actually does work. put alot of coats on, (don't worry it NEVER clumps) and then curl. repeat that until you're satisifed. it works for me. :)

Actually you know there's something called Latisse and it works really well, but there's one side effect, what happens is it makes your eyes a little darker some people don't like that, (preferences)

here's the link
