For camera: The Canon G12 will be the first G-series model that will incorporate Canon’s HS System – a robust

combination of a high-sensitivity 10. Megapixel CCD sensor and high-performance DIGIC 4 processor to provide exceptional image quality in all lighting circumstances, including low ligh

Canon G12 also shoots uncompressed RAW images and incorporates Canon’s Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software, offering the ability to successfully edit photographs following capture.

Canon G12 includes 720p High definition movie capture at 24 frames per second (24fps) together with stereo audio.

I am always interested in a good "What's In My Purse?" video. So you could start with that. Other suggestions:

-foundation application/skincare regime

-everyday makeup routine

-reviews on products

-makeup/hair/fashion for school

-monthly favorites, you could incorporate fashion, hair, & makeup into those (you could start w/ August since August is coming to an end soon)

-tutorials on your favorite eyelooks or ask your subscribers what they'd like to see

For brushes: Coastal Scents brushes are great, but only if you like ordering online. I like Sonia Kashuk and e.l.f.(Target) and Revlon(I found them at walmart.) I don't recommend off-brand brushes at HEB or wherever. And I think its great to get cheap brushes, but don't make them $1. Except e.l.f.! Basically, brushes should cost a bit more but not too much. Make sure it's a reliable brand, because you don't want to have to repurchase. Starter brushes:

Blending eyeshadow brush

regular eyeshadow brush(see link below)

foundation or stippling brush(you can get both, but this is less costly.)

small stippling/blush brush if you use bronzers and blush

and finally...

angled brush!!! preferably with a smudgy end.

Remember, you can always add to your collection later, so you CAN start small! remember to research before you buy.

oh, and buying sets is ok, but its better to mix and match diff companies that you know you will love. :)

Makeup: ELF

MAC

NYX

Nars

Revlon

Maybelline

(:

You can also throw in some item sfrom Wet n Wild or NYC :D I love NYC. (:

Well that was long! Hope I helped!

I do youtube videos as well! For lighting, I'd try to use natural light as much as possible; no kind of artificial light will be nearly as flattering (or easy). I personally only use voiceovers when necessary; if I'm doing nail tutorials that I have to edit quite a bit, or if I mess up the audio on a makeup tutorial. Try to get a good camera and film in hd; the better quality your video, the more people will tune in.

Any and all types of tutorials are a great place to start; try doing a different spin on them (blue smokey eye, special holiday themes, "inspired by my trip to the beach" tutorials, etc) because everyone has already seen a ton of videos on how to do a plain old smokey eye. I also recommend doing reviews of new products and hauls whenever you go shopping - people especially love hauls.

Check out my channels: http://www.youtube.com/cosmeticcraving/ and http://www.youtube.com/pretty4pennies/ And send me a message when you start your channel - I'd love to check it out!

I don't think you need a lot of makeup to do tutorials. By not having much, you are showing your audience that they don't need to go out and buy a ton of makeup to do your makeup looks!

As for filming, fill near natural light (near a window) so people can actually see you!! Haha. And I personally like voiceovers for makeup tutorials so you can focus on doing your makeup and then explaining it, instead of talking to the camera which gets kinda annoying.

Videos I like seeing are:

-makeup collection

-room tour

-everyday makeup routine

-morning routine

-skincare routine (evening or morning)

-wearable smokey eye

-bathroom tour

-skincare products

-favorite products

-great drugstore buys

-drugstore dupes for high end products

-great eyeshadow pallets

-best eyeshadow colors

-"how to" videos

-what's in my purse

-what's in my makeup bag

hope i helped! make sure to upload videos no more than 3 days apart because i get annoyed when my favorite makeup guru doesn't post videos often! lol i get pissed!

yes youll need lots of makeup.

2. film where the video will turn out crystal clear, not too much light not too dark

3 do the tutorials that are most unique,(i think there are already tons of smokey eye tutorial)

No questions asked, the best site for Photoshop tutorials is: http://www.photoeditinglessons.com

All tutorials are in video format, which makes them easier for you to follow along with the instructor. The videos are interactive and very easy to follow, this will help you learn piano three times faster. Good Luck!

I would get a better quality camera then a web cam... unless its like a mac or really clear. and to get popular start with popular tags like whats in my purses... and then once you get some subscribers ask them to request tutorials... i would start off with a makeup routine..and then some of your favorite spring looks hope this helps

1. You don't need any specific makeup, except for makeup your viewers can get (not dicontinued items).

2. If you have a good camera and some nice lights, it doesn't matter. Voice over isn't necessary.
