Avoid smudges?

I wear eye liner and is there any technique or anything I can use to prevent it form smudging? I have huge bags from allergies and the smudging makes it worse looking.

well, u might be wearing too much eye liner if it smudges ALOT. or what u can try, is to use black eyeshadow, and a thin brush, instead of the pencil eyeliner...it will stay on longer

Put a similar color eye shadow over it to set it in.



Use a cotton swab with eye makeup remover on it and clean up the smudges. :)

If you do wear it, you can try a waterproof eyeliner or eye pencil. A good pencil is by Prestige, their waterproof one, which you can purchase at drugstores, and Bobbi Brown makes a nice gel eyeliner with great staying power, which you can get in department stores or online.

I heard maybelline line stylist is awesome and doesn't smudge. my clinique quickliner also doesn't smudge



and it's bad to put eyeliner on your lower lash line in that fleshy white part, it could scratch your cornea
