why don't beauty gurus on youtube do makeup tutorials anymore?

Question

doing makeup tutorials on youtube used to be realy popular, but now ive noticed that a lot of the popular gurus are doing less and less actual tutorials. on some channels such as juicystar07, she only does a makeup tutorial like once every couple months. now all the beauty channels seem to be more about clothes, hauls, monthly favorites videos, tag videos, or videos where they just talk.
does anyone know why beauty gurus have stopped making as many actual makeup tutorials as before?

They usually stay posted. I am subscribed to them all. They have amazing tutorials. I think so at least.

I know, right? That's immediately who I thought of (juicystar07) when I read your question! Yeah, my only guess is that they're more difficult to film and require more creativity than hauls, clothes, etc. I'm so mad about it too :S

I know it's making me so mad. I used to love watching the videos. But now i cant find any only the old ones that i've already seen.

well alot of them are doing like new years makeup tutorials but i agree, i think they are running out of ideas. i mean if you think about, everyone has already done things like winter, summer, spring, fall, makeup and beach makeup and school makeup and smokey eyes ect....sooo maybe we just nees to request some!(:

haha i know what you mean. it's really annoying, but michellephan's videos are mostly all tutorials along with makeupgeektv and dope2111
