Omg is there anyway to make a hickey fade faster??? I've never had one before, I've always avoided them. But i got caught up in the heat of the moment last night. It not very dark but it's the size of freakin Texas lol. I'm thinking I won't shave for a couple days so it will help conceal it. But does anyone have any advice??? Thanks

Next time put the vacuum 3 feet lower, no one will see it and it's a lot more fun too.

I have put a lemon slice on the hickey for about 2 to 4 mintues. Clean the area, and then use foundation to cover it a little bit so it will be lighter. If your hickey is smaller enough, you can put a bandage over it.

Then since it's winter, you can wear a turtle neck shirt or a scarf, For summer time, wear a choker.

It takes 3 to 4 days for it to lighten, and then 5 to 8 days for it to disappear.

Hickeys are basically bruises. My boyfriend likes to give them to me because he finds it funny. Just put a lot of pressure on it. Take a cold spoon and rub it for like 10 minutes every couple hours...when i do this they usually go away completely in 2 or 3 days rather than 5 or 6

Like Lola said, hot and cold compresses alternating. A hickey is a bruise, so depending on how quickly you heal from bruises, it could take a few days. Is it very dark? The darker it is, the deeper it is, so it'll take even longer. Hopefully you live somewhere cold so you can get away with wearing a scarf! And yeah, makeup is going to make it look worse!

Well you could use some cover up or some concealer makeup, but it just takes time for it to go away, lol Next time get a hickey where you dont want anyone to see it. Lol

well i make them go away with chap stick with the cap you rotate it on the hickey and keep rotating it it will hurt a little bit but its better to have a friend do it. or else you can use the cold spoon method wich is you freeze a spoon and then press it against the hickey but that doesnt really tend to work>

I don't know if this will help much but I've heard it does... You can try putting vaseline or something like that on the area and then smooth the area out with your finger pressing kinda hard making the blood in that area spread out. Hope this helps!

put a cold compress on it for about 20 minutes, and then a warm, and massage the warm compress into the hickey.

Treat it just like any bruise - alternate hot and cold compresses every 20 minutes to improve circulation. However, it's only mildly effective, so I suggest a scarf. :p
