i overheard somebody the other day say that eyeliner gives you wrinkles, i didnt really believe her, and i thought it was if you pull your eye down to apply eyeliner is what gives you wrinkles.

i wear eyeliner every day, and quite heavy aswell, as i just dont feel comfortable with it. IF pulling your eye down does cause wrinkles, could somebody tell me a way to apply it without risking wrinkles?

i know we all get wrinkles eventually, but i would like to prevent it from happening, and if i can through eyeliner, then i'd like to, haha!

thanksssss :) xx

If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.

Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.

And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

no thats stupid Lines between the eyebrows (frown lines) and lines jutting from the corner of the eyes (crows feet) are believed to develop because of small muscle contractions. Smiling, frowning, squinting and other habitual facial expressions cause these wrinkles to become more prominent. Over time, the expressions coupled with gravity contribute to the formation of jowls and drooping eyelids. So you'll get wrinkles anyways ...you can't help it

You are correct eyeliner does not give you wrinkles, unless you pull at any of the skin around your eye. This skin around your eye's is the thinnest and most sensitive skin on your body you should never rub that area hard.

Using a good undereye moisturizer starting when you're young is a much better way to try to avoid wrinkles than avoiding eyeliner : )

i'm not sure. it could do. when i first started wearing liner it made my eyes go a bit wrinkly, and i found that finding a good moisturiser and applying a little of that, followed by some transparent powder is good as a base coat to help prevent wrinkles.
